The Almond Orchard is a free online school for women in Afghanistan who would like to study. Through a simple mobile app, lessons can be followed from home or any place that feels comfortable. As a student can learn at their own pace.

Every course is designed for self-study. There are no fixed class hours. You can study whenever it suits you, this might be early in the morning or later in the day. Even a short study session can be meaningful.

Practical information
This school is for women in Afghanistan who wish to learn. You can begin from the level that feels comfortable for you. We are developing small tests to help you find the right level.
What you need
To begin learning, you need: a smartphone with internet access and some quiet time for study
Study time
You can decide when and how long you want to study. Even a short period of time each day will help you improve your knowledge and skills.
Language
Many of our courses are in simple English. Some courses are in Dari. Our aim is to provide material in Dari, Pashto, and English.
